These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your booking and participation in guided trike tours and self-guided trike rentals offered by Trikes & Tings VI ("we," "us," or "our"). By booking a tour or rental, you agree to these Terms.
Our Service
Trikes & Tings VI provides guided three-wheel trike tours and self-guided trike rentals on St. John, U.S. Virgin Islands, operated in partnership with Random Excursions. Bookings, payments, and waivers are handled by Trikes & Tings VI. Tours depart from and rentals are picked up at Union Road B, St. John, VI 00830. Guided tours are approximately 3 hours; rentals are offered as a half day (5 hours) or full day (9 hours). The fleet is six trikes; group size is limited to a maximum of 12 riders (two per trike).
Rider Requirements
- Drivers must be 21 years of age or older and must present a valid driver's license at check-in.
- Passengers must be 15 years of age or older and must present photo identification. A maximum of two people may ride on one trike.
- All riders must sign the Rider Waiver (and, for rentals, the rental agreement), watch the safety video, complete the instructions, and take a test ride before riding.
- Helmets are provided and must be worn at all times while riding. A shirt is required; closed-toe shoes are strongly recommended.
- Riders must obey all traffic laws and speed limits, respect locals, and must not ride off-road or on beaches. Reckless riding and racing are prohibited.
- Riders must not operate a trike under the influence of alcohol or any impairing substance.
Pricing, Booking & Payment
Guided tours are $180 per trike for a single rider and $230 per trike for a double rider (two people per bike). Rentals are $160 for a half day (5 hours) and $200 for a full day (9 hours); an additional hour may be added for $25.00 when available. Gratuity is not included. Payment is due at the time of booking and is processed securely through our online booking calendar. Upon successful payment you will receive a booking confirmation and receipt. Reservations are recommended, as availability is limited.
Rentals
Rental trikes must be returned on time, with fuel and condition inspected at return. Renters are responsible for damage caused by misuse, failure to follow instructions, or riding where prohibited. Rentals may start at any time between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM; extensions are subject to availability.
Cancellations, Rescheduling & Weather
Customers will receive a full refund or credit with 24 hours notice of cancellation. Customers will also receive a full refund or credit in case of operator cancellation due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances. Contact us by phone to cancel or inquire about a cancellation. No-shows will be charged the full price. Please note that due to National Park rules, tour stops may vary.
Check-In
Guests staying on St. Thomas should take the ferry to Cruz Bay one hour before their tour or rental start time; we will pick you up at the dock. Guests staying on St. John may call us for directions or assistance getting to our location. Late arrival may shorten your experience or be treated as a no-show.
Assumption of Risk & Liability
Operating a three-wheel trike involves inherent risks. By participating, you acknowledge these risks and agree to ride responsibly and in accordance with all instructions. All riders must sign our Rider Waiver before departure. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Trikes & Tings VI and its operating partner are not liable for injury, loss, or damage arising from a rider's failure to follow safety instructions or from risks inherent to the activity.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The version posted on this page at the time of your booking applies to your reservation.
